CE Credits a Driver for Education Programs?

I'm interested in hearing from adjusters licensed in states with CE requirements: is CE a driver when you spend time and money on your education?

Digital Recording
(0 comments)

Digital recording has now hit my carrier.  I got mine this week. Our company clerical staff will be transcribing statements after they are uploaded.  I will post a comment once I have my first phone statement transcribed which may be awhile since I am still a commercial liability field adjuster. I wonder when the gas prices will pull us off the road except for the most exceptional claims? but that's off topic....

Balance

Your question on customer satisfaction is a challenge for all businesses. How much customer satisfaction can a business provide (cost) compared to the premuim you can charge. In the effrot to achieve higher customer satisfaction, you could over spend (expenses or indemnity) that causes you product to be overpriced and not cometitive.

As a business you have to decide the level you want to achieve in customer service based on how high you can allow your price to climb (balance). I believe that is different for different products, the customer segment and amount of competition you face.

In the end, not an easy task.

That is a tough one.  I find we are making more concessions every day and at the same time we are not getting the premium we should due to the current soft market.  I think the issue is better solved in underwriting.  Why aren't carriers offering more extended coverage for an additional premium, like new parts on old cars, etc.
